Role:
As an Intern, you will work closely with the Advisory team and contribute to a broad range of primary fundraising and secondary transactions related tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Advisory team throughout the fundraising process for Reach Capital’s clients, including the preparation and updating of marketing materials such as pitchbooks, DDQs and responses to specific LP requests;
- Assisting the team in evaluating secondary opportunities and managing transaction processes, including portfolio and asset reviews and the preparation of marketing materials;
- Participating in marketing update calls with GP clients and assisting with the preparation and updating of marketing reports as part of primary fundraising assignments;
- Monitoring the private markets fundraising environment through the preparation and regular updating of market mappings, as well as conducting market research and preparing general or thematic studies and reports on current and emerging trends in private markets;
- Participating in deal flow and origination meetings with GPs, and supporting the team in the analysis of prospective clients and business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- Strong financial, analytical, documentation, and communication skills are essential.
- Solid understanding of private markets, including key KPIs and financial metrics, with a genuine interest in working within an Advisor / Placement Agent.
- Excellent proficiency in ICT tools (MS Office).
- Fluency in English (French is a plus)
