From our Frankfurt office, we provide acquisition and growth financing to financial sponsors and entrepreneurs across the German-speaking mid-market.
We are looking for a highly motivated Analyst / Associate to join our Direct Lending team in Frankfurt.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting thorough analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities
- Building and maintaining financial models
- Preparing investment committee materials and presenting opportunities to the Investment Committee alongside the deal team
- Supporting origination and interacting directly with financial sponsors, debt advisors and management teams
- Structuring transactions, drafting term sheets and negotiating finance documentation together with legal counsel
- Monitoring portfolio companies and preparing regular reports on their financial performance
- For Associates: leading workstreams, coordinating external advisors, and coaching analysts and interns
Required qualifications
- Previous experience in private debt / leveraged finance, private equity, debt advisory, investment banking, strategy consulting, transaction advisory services or a related field
- Degree in finance, business administration, economics, engineering or a related field with excellent academic performance
- Strong financial modelling, analytical and quantitative skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in using AI tools / LLMs (e.g., Claude)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Native German speaker and fluent in English
