The Role
Analyst/Associate, Sector Team, IBD
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in material preparation, meeting and presentation, and drafting meeting notes and minutes;
- Prepare internal process documents, organize process meetings, including KYC, SDS, CAP memos, OC/POA agreements, sponsorship and FA agreements, and communicate terms with ICLCD and clients;
- Act as the coordinator for designated project, actively participate in the execution of sponsorship, underwriting, FA, and other projects, including organizing weekly project meetings, providing feedback on intermediary opinions, drafting prospectuses, and on-site support;
- Actively engage in collaboration with the headquarters and various affiliated companies;
- Foster teamwork, assist in leading and training junior staff, and coordinate communication across teams/departments;
- Other ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Law, or related fields, Master's degree is preferred;
- Good knowledge of Hong Kong capital market regulations (Listing Rules, Code on Takeovers and Mergers) is required;
- Good understanding of IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, refinancing, etc., experience in technology and financial projects is preferred;
- Candidates with full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
- Strong writing and communication skills, attention to accuracy and compliance of document writing;
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial valuation software (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg);
- Independent and a good team player;
- Strong sense of responsibility, positive and proactive, capable of handling multiple tasks with tight schedule;
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin.
