Alpen Capital is an Investment Banking advisory firm based in the DIFC, Dubai, providing corporate finance and strategic advisory services to clients across the GCC, South Asia and other international markets. The firm advises corporates and financial institutions on debt and equity capital raising, M&A and other strategic financing initiatives.
Role
We are seeking an Investment Banking Intern to join our Dubai team for three months. You will work directly with the transaction team across origination, execution and business development, gaining hands-on exposure to live assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution of corporate finance transactions, including debt and equity capital raising and M&A assignments.
- Conduct company, industry and market research for transaction execution and business development.
- Assist in preparing pitch books, teasers, information memoranda, management presentations and other transaction materials.
- Prepare financial analysis, valuation work and financial models under the guidance of the transaction team.
- Assist with deal pipelines, client status reports and internal monitoring.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- Prior internship or work experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, private equity or a closely related financial role is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of financial statements, corporate finance and valuation fundamentals.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; prior exposure to financial modelling is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and willingness to work in a transaction-driven environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a genuine interest in investment banking and corporate finance.
