Investment Analyst | Real Estate Investment
A leading European real estate investment platform is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its Transactions team in Berlin. This is a highly visible role offering exposure to acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures across a diversified portfolio including office, residential/BTR, hospitality, logistics and development assets. The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals and gain end-to-end transaction exposure, from underwriting and due diligence through to negotiation and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support acquisitions, disposals and JV transactions across Germany and selected European markets
- Perform financial modelling, valuation analysis, DCFs, IRR calculations and scenario testing
- Analyse new investment opportunities and assess risk-adjusted returns
- Prepare investment memoranda, board papers and transaction approval materials
- Coordinate due diligence processes with advisers and internal stakeholders
- Assist with negotiation documentation, including LOIs and term sheets
- Support execution through signing and completion
- Conduct market research across multiple sectors and geographies
- Build relationships with brokers, advisers, investors and JV partners
Candidate Profile
- 2+ years' experience in real estate investment, private equity, transaction advisory, valuation, asset management or a related field
- Strong financial modelling and investment analysis skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
- Experience underwriting real estate transactions
- Excellent English communication skills
- German language skills are advantageous
