Analyst / Senior Analyst – Investments Leading Sovereign Wealth Fund | Dubai, UA/E

A leading sovereign wealth fund in Dubai is seeking an Analyst / Senior Analyst to support the evaluation, execution and ongoing management of investments, including fund commitments and co-investments.
The role offers broad exposure across the investment lifecycle, from research, screening and due diligence through valuation, transaction execution, portfolio management and exits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct macroeconomic, industry and company research to identify and assess investment opportunities.
- Build financial models, valuations, capital structure analyses and investment return scenarios.
- Support due diligence, including reviewing findings from external advisers and identifying key risks.
- Prepare investment papers, internal reports and recommendations for senior colleagues.
- Assist with transaction structuring, negotiations and execution.
- Monitor portfolio performance and support value creation initiatives, post-investment planning and exit assessments.
Candidate Profile
- UA/E nat. with 2–3 years of relevant experience at a leading sovereign wealth fund, investment bank or private equity firm.
- Practical transaction experience, including financial modelling, valuation and M&A analysis.
- Ability to build operating, valuation and capital structure models from scratch.
- Excellent academic record from a leading university, with a degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline.
- A relevant postgraduate degree or professional qualification, such as CFA or ACA, would be advantageous.
- Exposure to credit assessment or restructuring would be a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, commercial judgement and a clear interest in investing.
- Proactive, highly motivated and comfortable managing multiple workstreams within a small team.
- Excellent written and verbal English, including the ability to communicate investment analysis clearly.
Location: Dubai. Occasional travel may be required.
