The Vacancy

Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity

We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Credit Analyst to join our growing specialist property lending team. Working closely with our Credit Managers, you'll play a key role in driving deals from application through to completion, liaising with brokers, borrowers, solicitors, valuers and asset managers while supporting lending decisions on a diverse range of property finance transactions. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to complex bridging, refurbishment and buy-to-let lending while developing your career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What will your day look like?

  • Support Credit Managers throughout the entire loan lifecycle, from application to completion.
  • Review credit searches, assess key information and help prepare lending recommendations.
  • Coordinate with valuers, solicitors and asset managers to keep transactions progressing smoothly.
  • Build strong relationships with brokers and borrowers, ensuring a first-class customer experience.
  • Prepare approval documentation and support lending decisions on a range of property finance cases.
  • Monitor live cases, manage key milestones and help drive timely completions and repayments.

What do we expect from you?

We're looking for an ambitious and motivated graduate who is keen to build a career in property finance and lending. You may have recently completed a degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related subject and be looking for your first step into the financial services industry. Whether you're currently in your first role or have some work experience alongside your studies, you'll be eager to learn, develop and contribute in a fast-paced environment.

  • A degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information and draw logical conclusions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Genuine interest in property finance, lending and credit risk.

Why is this role ideal for graduates?

This role has been designed as an entry point into the world of specialist property lending. You'll receive hands-on training, work alongside experienced Credit Managers and gain exposure to a wide range of property finance transactions from day one. Whether you've recently graduated or are in an early-career role that's not fully aligned to your degree, this opportunity will provide the exposure, support and development needed to launch a successful career in credit and lending.

What can you expect from us?

Join a growing specialist lender where you'll work alongside experienced professionals, gain exposure to complex property transactions and play a meaningful role in supporting lending decisions that drive our success. This is an exciting opportunity to accelerate your career, broaden your expertise and be part of a high-performing team with ambitious growth plans.

  • Hybrid working with four days per week in our London office and the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
  • A supportive, collaborative culture that reflects the way we work with our customers and each other.
  • The opportunity to grow your career within a business that is expanding and investing in its people.
  • A culture of continuous improvement , where you'll be encouraged to share ideas, challenge the status quo and make an impact from day one.
