The team is organized along regions and asset classes, providing the best service to our investment teams and achieving optimal outcomes for our clients. Dedicated traders within asset class functions bring deep expertise in financial instruments and market structure, supporting order workflows, providing market intelligence, and managing counterparty relationships.
BlackRock offers placement opportunities for a duration of 12 months. This programme is for candidates graduating in 2029 who are required by their degree to complete a long-term internship.
What to expect:
- Learn about financial markets from an outstanding vantage point
- Conduct sophisticated analyses by gathering, processing, and transforming data using languages such as Python and SQL to enhance business decision-making and strengthen risk controls
- Understand how our traders manage their books as well as relationships with global financial institutions
- Gain insight into execution strategies and analyze trading performance
- Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on key strategic projects
- Work closely with internal strategic partners to inform changes in products, processes, and technology
